BAY Captain Cook Monument

In association with MERRIMA design + tUG workshop

The competition entry provided a memorable monument to Captain Cook by honouring not only his voyage but also his position relative to the 3 subsequent fleets that followed his lead. The concrete prowes are composed to be revealed at low tide and to appear more like tombstones at high tide. Navigational lights to each make them visible from a distance.
